Paint on a selected image or choose New layer in Layers. Pen: click anchors, drag curves, Enter to finish or click the first anchor to close. Gradient: edit RGBA stop swatches in Tool options; add up to six stops. Only added stops have position handles. The original stops stay at 0% and 100%. Escape cancels unfinished work.
